With its Technical Centre for Welding Applications (CTAS), acknowledged as the largest private welding research centre in the world, Air Liquide Welding pursues continuous innovation, constantly striving to improve the performance and productivity of its clients, and the safety and comfort of operators.

A global approach and a high level of expertise

70 engineers and expert technicians with various fields of expertise (metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemistry, electronics...) and a large knowledge of welding and cutting processes develop everyday innovative solutions to a broad range of business segments.

CTAS is one of the 8 main R&D centers of Air Liquide Group. At Air Liquide, R&D is carried out by "satellite teams" working directly at our customers' sites. Working closely and continuously with the most prestigious university research laboratories and in direct contact with leading industrial partners, our R&D teams are developing new applications and services.
